Glass & Glazing UV Glass Bonding Technology

Our UV glass bonding technology allows us to bond glass to glass, and glass to metal, marble, or wood - all important products for our contemporary glass furniture.

Using UV adhesives, the finished bond is crystal clear in appearance, with the bond being stronger than the glass itself.

What is UV-Adhesive?

It is an acrylic based component adhesive designed to react to long wave ultraviolet rays, that when curved give an optically clear bonded surface with exceptional strength characteristics.

The type of adhesive used is dependent on the materials being bonded. Particular attention has to be paid to preparation of the surfaces, as well as the correct positioning and clamping of the components. These are all vital to the final strength of the bond.

With the availability of accessories such as hinges, castor rollers, turntable bearings etc, the diversity in design of glass furniture is extensive.

In combination with coloured UV adhesive, bevels can be turned into sophisticated colour compositions for bathroom and living room mirrors, display windows and glass partitions.
